“Supermodel” is the second studio album by Foster the People, and is scheduled for release on March 18th. Supermodel features themes of negativity towards modern pop culture and consumer ideology throughout the album. Though of mostly by Foster, “Supermodel” deals primarily with social issues and “the ugly side of capitalism”– issues that had affected and fascinated Foster during the creative process of the album. But despite the roots of the album, here’s the bottom line: If you’re an Alternative/Indie Rock fan, you’ll appreciate listening to this album a little early…
The tracklist with song times is below the video. Enjoy. (I highly recommend listening to “Coming of Age” and “Best Friend” which start at 8:53 and 24:56, respectively).
